AI and data

1. Purpose and scope

Struvo uses AI to draft descriptions and summaries of construction documentation. Photos, text and necessary project context may be submitted for a requested function. Clients should minimise data, particularly likenesses, contact details and confidential information. The DPA governs entrusted data.

2. Human review

A model may miss an element, misidentify a material or invent a detail. Outputs are proposals for user review. They do not replace inspection, measurements, qualified professional decisions or a statutory building logbook. Approval in Struvo does not itself make content official documentation.

3. Provider and service conditions

OpenAI is the current AI model provider. Analysis runs through Cloudflare Workers infrastructure; see the provider list for the respective roles. Model-provider conditions do not independently determine retention of Cloudflare logs or data stored in Struvo.

By default, OpenAI does not use API inputs or outputs to train models unless the customer enables data sharing. This setting must be confirmed for Struvo's account. Sharing entrusted data for training must not be enabled without the basis and agreement required by the DPA. Processing is governed by the OpenAI DPA.

4. Data retention

The current OpenAI integration code disables response storage using store: false. This is not Zero Data Retention and does not prove that control is enabled. According to OpenAI documentation, standard abuse-monitoring logs may contain content and are retained for up to 30 days by default, with legal and safety exceptions. Additional rules apply to particular models, caching, and image and file inputs. We do not guarantee deletion of all data after 30 days or processing exclusively within the EU.

To resolve before publication: retention of project data and drafts in Struvo, Cloudflare logs and conditions for the particular OpenAI project, including region, retention and data-sharing controls. Internal periods have not yet been set. We do not promise automatic draft deletion after 14 days. Contact: privacy@struvo.pl.
